President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud of the Federal Republic of Somalia has arrived and received a grand welcome in Kampala, the capital of Uganda, to participate in an urgent and extraordinary meeting of the leaders of the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD). The meeting focuses on maintaining and enhancing the region’s stability and respecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the member countries of this regional organization.
