The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, and the former President, Mr. Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo, met in Doha, Qatar.
During the meeting, the two officials discussed the overall situation of Somalia and the challenges it faces. President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud emphasized the significant achievements of his government, particularly in the fight against the AS group, the progress in debt relief programs, and the lifting of the arms embargo.
He also praised the way the Somali people, including officials and former leaders, are united in defending the independence, unity, and cohesiveness of Somalia.
This meeting between the two Presidents demonstrates the commitment of Somali leaders to work together for the development and stability of Somalia.
